Camila pino

My story

I am a pino stretcher, singer, interpreter and composer of music of argentine and latin american folklore. my artistic path develops within the popular song, from a sensitive and contemporary search where voice, word and interpretation occupy a central place.

My music is born from dialogue with the sound traditions of argentina and latin america, but also from the need to say from the present: sing as a form of memory, encounter and expression.

Training

I trained in popular music, composition, singing and traverse flute. i studied musical composition with orientation in popular music at the national university of villa maría, and i was building my journey from the formation, the scenarios and the encounter with other music.

Recognition

In 2022 i released my first album, river and channel, a work that brings together versions of the popular song maker, and just one of my own compositions. i am currently producing my second record material, at a stage of deep artistic and personal search, where i will share more of my compositions.

In 2025 i was the winner of the pre-cosquin in the vocal soloist, recognition that allowed me to present myself on the major stage of the national folklore festival, one of the most important spaces of argentine popular music.
